The Fountain of Memory: The Night Journey of the Sun

Trance – Breathwork – Dramatherapeutic Enactments – Collective Healing Space
Body and dramatherapy methods, ritual structures, and a specific form of breath work to induce trance create a safe context that allows access to the experiences stored in the body’s memory.

Much of our human potential lies in areas that are not accessible to normal consciousness. This is why we work here with a specific form of breathing (Holotropic Breathwork), combined with activating bodywork, which makes it possible to access inner self-healing processes in an expanded state of consciousness and perception. Previously inaccessible elements of life history can be remembered and re-located. This is often associated with an opening to the evolutionary forces and collective memory also stored in our cells. These trans-personal experiences allow us to dive deeply into the “well of memory”, the knowledge of life and developmental processes. It enables a vivid reference to existential themes in the tension between birth and death beyond the everyday neurotic occurrences within and around us.

The accompanying work with myths and stories (here with elements from the Egyptian Book of the Dead: the night journey of the sun and the weighing of the heart) and drama-therapeutic enactments create a collective “healing space” that allows for the integration of the trance experiences into concrete action and personal development.
